Titans GameDay vs. Orlando, March 10 - Game 63 (Home 32)

March 10, 2013 - ECHL (ECHL)
Trenton Titans News Release

Last Meeting

February 2, 2013 - Trenton took a 4-3 lead early in the third. However, despite a gutty effort after being depleted on defense from in-game injuries, the Titans saw the lead and the game disappear, as Orlando took a 6-4 win at home.

Next Meeting

Today is the third and final meeting of the season with the expansion Solar Bears.

Record (Home/Away); Streaks

Orlando: 8-20-2 Road (1-9 in last 10 road games, including 2 shutouts and 2 games allowing 9 goals). The Solar Bears are 4-5-1 in their last 10 overall and have lost their last three (0-2-1). Trenton: 14-13-2-2 Home (4-3-1-2 in last 10 at home). The Titans are 5-4-0-1 overall in their last 10.

Season Series

Both teams are 1-1, each winning on their home ice.

Road Woes

With two straight road wins, the Wheeling Nailers are now tied with Evansville (8-17-2-3), but no longer have the worst road record in the league. That distinction now belongs to Orlando (8-20-2). Bakersfield has the worst road record in the West at 8-22-2-1, but even with more regulation losses, the Condors (19 points) are still one point better away from home than Orlando.

Argument For Expansion

Trenton has had good luck with this year's expansion teams, going 5-1. The Titans are 3-0 against Evansville, 1-0 against Fort Wayne and has split their two with Orlando. They didn't face the San Francisco Bulls this season
