Matchup:
The Solar Bears continue their six-game road trip this afternoon as they face off for a Sunday matinee against the Trenton Titans. Orlando showed strong resolve in yesterday's tilt with the Elmira Jackals, as they came back from deficits of 2-0, 3-1, 4-3, and 5-4 to earn a point in an eventual 6-5 overtime loss to Elmira. The Titans had the luxury of being off last night, and last took the ice against the Wheeling Nailers on Friday. The Nailers built up a 2-0 lead going into the third period, but Trenton erased the lead with two goals in the first 4:21 of the period to tie the game at 2-2. Wheeling came right back with three unanswered goals, including two in 23 that came just 23 seconds apart, to collect the 5-2 victory. The Solar Bears and Titans last came together on an historic night for Orlando, when the 2000-01 Turner Cup Championship Banner was unveiled in the rafters of the Amway Center. In that contest, the Solar Bears jumped out to an early 1-0 lead and eventually took down Trenton 6-4. This is the third meeting between the two clubs, with Orlando going 1-1-0-0 against the Titans this year.
