ABOUT LAST GAME: The TinCaps rallied for three late runs against the Bowling Green Hot Rods, but fell, 8-3, at Bowling Green Ballpark. Trae Santos provided the offensive spark, bombing his fifth home run of the season in the eighth inning.
SURGING SANTOS: First baseman Trae Santos homered on Sunday for the fourth time over his last seven games. He smacked two last week against the Lake County Captains at Parkview Field and added two more in the Bowling Green series. He now has five on the year, tied for fourth in the Midwest League.
