ABOUT SUNDAY: The TinCaps swept a doubleheader from the Clinton LumberKings. Fort Wayne won 2-1 and 16-1, in that order. In Game 2, the TinCaps had seven players with multi-hit games. All 10 players who had an at-bat in the game recorded at least one hit.

SOMETHING WITTY ABOUT RAIN: For the fourth consecutive day, rain impacted Fort Wayne's schedule on Monday. After a 2 hour, 6-minute delay on Friday against Kane County, the TinCaps and Clinton were postponed on Saturday, had a delay during each game of a doubleheader on Sunday, and were cancelled Monday night.

FORT WAYNE HISTORY: In the bottom of the third inning in Game 2 on Sunday, Fort Wayne matched a franchise record for hits in an inning. The TinCaps tallied nine hits during an eight-run inning that saw 12 batters come to the plate. It marked the fourth time in franchise history that Fort Wayne had a nine-hit inning. The last time it happened was Sept. 5, 2011 at Parkview Field against South Bend.

HOT AT HOME: The TinCaps have won four consecutive series at Parkview Field. Fort Wayne is 10-4 at home since May 26.

HOT NO MATTER WHERE: The TinCaps are 16-9 over their last 25 games. If you break it down to smaller samples, Fort Wayne is 13-7 over its last 20, and 7-3 over its last 10.

WINNING STREAK: The TinCaps enter Tuesday on their third three-game winning streak of the season (all coming since the last week of May). Fort Wayne has yet to win four consecutive games this season.

RED HOT REYES: Right fielder Franmil Reyes went 1-for-3 with a run scored in Game 1 on Sunday. In Game 2, he was 2-for-3 with a thee-run homer and a triple. Reyes is on a season-long seven-game hitting streak and has reached base safely in 12 consecutive games going back to May 31. During the five-game homestand alone, Reyes hit .400 with 2 HR and 8 RBIs.
