Timbers Play Host to LA Galaxy Tonight at Providence Park

The Portland Timbers play host to the LA Galaxy in MLS regular-season action tonight, Wednesday, Sept. 2 at 7:30 p.m. (Pacific), at Providence Park. The match will feature a local broadcast on FOX 12 PLUS, with local radio broadcasts on 750 The Game (English) and La GranD 1150AM/93.5 FM (Spanish).

Tonight's match marks the 24th regular-season meeting, and the 27th meeting across all competitions between the Timbers and the LA Galaxy since Portland joined MLS in 2011. The series is tied 10-10-6 across all competitions between the Timbers and the Galaxy. Dating back to March 12, 2017, Portland has a record of 6-2-1 against the Galaxy across all competitions, outscoring LA 18-7 during that span. Notably, Sebastián Blanco has tallied four goals and three assists in nine appearances across all competitions against the Galaxy. In three regular-season matches played against LA, Jeremy Ebobisse has tallied three goals, while Diego Valeri has registered six goals and eight assists in 17 regular-season matches against the Galaxy.
