Player Notes

Erik Sorga scored his first goal for the Black-and-Red as a 98th minute game-winner.

Chris Seitz recorded his first Black-and-Red clean sheet in the MLS Regular Season; his first since a 4-0 win against Atlanta United on March 3, 2018 for the Houston Dynamo.

Frédéric Brillant returned to the starting lineup after being sidelined with an injury for the match against Philadelphia.

Chris Seitz started his second consecutive match for the Black-and-Red; he recorded four saves.

Mohammed Abu recorded his first career start for the Black-and-Red.

Oniel Fisher made his first appearance since July 21 as a 72nd minute substitute.

Kevin Paredes made his fourth consecutive start for the Black-and-Red.

Moses Nyeman made his second consecutive appearance for the Black-and-Red as a 78th minute substitute.

D.C. United beat the New York Red Bulls at Red Bull Arena for the first time since a 2-0 win on July 9, 2011.

The Black-and-Red recorded their first win against the Red Bulls since a 2-0 win on May 13, 2016 at RFK Stadium.

D.C. United are now 35-30-15 against the Red Bulls in club history.

The Black-and-Red are 14-17-8 against RBNY on the road all-time.

The Black-and-Red recorded their first shutout win on the road since the 1-0 win against the Portland Timbers on Sept. 15, 2019.
