
Timbers Announce 2022 Training Camp Roster in Tucson, Arizona

PORTLAND, Ore. - The Portland Timbers today announced the club's training camp roster in Tucson, Arizona.
The team is set to square off against Seattle Sounders FC as part of the Desert Showcase tonight, Jan. 26, at Kino North Stadium; kickoff is set for 6 p.m. (Pacific). Portland will also take on Sporting Kansas City on Thursday, Feb. 3, at Phoenix Rising FC Soccer Complex; kickoff is set for 10 a.m. (Pacific).
Pablo Bonilla (Venezuela), Yimmi Chara (Colombia), Cristhian Paredes (Paraguay) and Bill Tuiloma (New Zealand) are currently away at international duty with their respective countries and are not in Tucson with the team.
The roster includes six players from the Timbers Academy and four players selected in the MLS SuperDraft over the past two seasons.
Upon the team's return to Portland on Feb. 3, the Timbers will continue preparations for the regular season, which begins on Feb. 26 with a home match against the New England Revolution.
