Wisconsin Timber Rattlers News Release
GRAND CHUTE, WI - Your chance to bring your pup to the park is Sunday, June 2. That is the day the Wisconsin Timber Rattlers host the Peoria Chiefs at Time Warner Cable Field at Fox Cities Stadium and a section of the stadium will be set aside for pets and pet owners. The Timber Rattlers, Invisible Fence by Golrusk, an Invisible Fence Brand authorized dealer, and Golrusk Pet Care Center present the fifth annual Bark in the Park. Game time is 1:05pm.
Tickets for the event are $5 for humans and free for dogs. Tickets may be purchased in advance or on the day of the game. Dog owners must sign a waiver stating that required vaccinations are current before tickets may be purchased.
On the day of the game, dogs and their owners should enter the stadium through the gate located down the left field line. Disabled fans and their dogs may use the main entrance. Seating will be general admission on the left field grass berm. Doggie pools, water dishes and waste bags will be available throughout the game. Day-of-game sales for Bark in the Park will take place at the left field gate beginning at 11:00am and conclude in the second inning of the game.
All dog owners will receive a gift bag that includes a treat from Two Paws Up Bakery of Appleton.
Golrusk dog ambassadors will also be at the game to collect funds for the Wisconsin-Upper Michigan Kiwanis Autism Project. The funds their "paws" generate will purchase iPads and apps that are customized for children with Autism.
Owners must sign a waiver stating that your dog's vaccinations from a licensed veterinarian are current. This waiver holds you (the owner) liable in the event of an incident. We recommend you contact your veterinarian regarding other vaccinations that may suit your dog's needs. The Timber Rattlers reserve the right to deny any dog or human entrance to Time Warner Cable Field for Bark in the Park for any reason they may see fit.
