Bowling Green Hot Rods News Release

Bowling Green, KY - The Bowling Green Hot Rods and Great Lakes Loons were rained out on Wednesday just one-and-a-half innings into the opener of a scheduled doubleheader at Bowling Green Ballpark. That contest has been officially suspended and will resume at the start of a doubleheader scheduled for Thursday at 5:30 PM CDT. Bowling Green and Great Lakes will also play a twinbill on Friday at 5:00 PM CDT to finish this four-game series.

Any fan that purchased a ticket to Wednesday's game can exchange that ticket for any future home game in the 2013 season, excluding Feed Your Face Night on August 25.

Hot Rods broadcasters Hank Fuerst and Chris Kleinhans-Schulz will cover all the action over the next two days at Bowling Green Ballpark on the Hot Rods Radio Network. Tune in to this series, and all Hot Rods games this season, on the air at 1340 "The Ticket" WBGN-AM and online at 1340WBGN.com and BGHotRods.com.

Thursday's twin bill will be an opportunity to honor area teachers on "Educator Appreciation Night" presented by Better Quality Business Systems, Destiny Dental and WKU Distance Learning. It will also be another "Thrifty Thursday" featuring $2 food and drink specials courtesy of All-Hit WUHU 107 and Beaver 96.7. For more information and to secure your tickets, call the Hot Rods at (270) 901-2121 or visit BGHotRods.com.
