Medicine Hat, AB - The Medicine Hat Tigers have announced the signing of Ryan Chyzowski to a WHL Standard Player Agreement. Ryan is the Tiger's 1st round pick and 17th overall selection from the 2015 Bantam Draft. A 6 ft 170 lb forward, Chyzowski played last season with the Kamloops Junior Blazers, recording 24 points in 15 games.

So far this season the 15 year old Kamloops BC native has 6 points in 9 games for the Thompson Blazers Major Midgets and sits second on the team with 4 goals. Ryan recently participated in the 2015 Western Canada U16 Challenge Cup helping Team BC earn a bronze medal.

"Ryan is a big, strong forward that possesses a tremendous work ethic, good shot and has great character qualities we look for in a Tiger," says Senior Director of Player Development Darren Kruger.

'We are thrilled to have Ryan join our team and welcome Ryan and his family to the Tigers organization," said Head Coach and General Manager Shaun Clouston, "We look forward to Ryan playing this weekend and to working with him as a full time member of the Medicine Hat Tigers in the future."

Chyzowski has joined the team and is set to make his WHL and Tigers debut this weekend against Kootenay and will make his home debut Saturday against Seattle.
