May 5, 2011 - International League (IL1)
Norfolk Tides News Release
The Norfolk Tides will wear two special jerseys this weekend when they take on the Indianapolis Indians at Harbor Park.
On Thursday night, the Tides will wear their camouflage jerseys to honor the local military, as well as the local Navy SEAL Team SIX, for doing such a tremendous job of keeping our country safe. In addition, the Tides will welcome two petty officers from the USS Dwight D. Eisenhower (CVN 69) to sing God Bless America during the 7th inning stretch. The first 2,500 fans to enter the gates will receive miniature American flags.
On Sunday afternoon, the Tides will wear special pink jerseys to commemorate Mothers' Day.
