LONDON, ONTARIO - The Windy City ThunderBolts (22-15) scored in seven consecutive innings, on their way to a 15-6 win and series victory over London (15-24).

The night after London set a league high with 20 hits, Windy City put up 22.

ThunderBlots DH, Chad Cregar had a two-run single in the 4th and a home run over the wood fence in right in the 9th . He had 5 RBIs in the game, 12 for the series and 8 hits.

That 9th inning for Windy City brought home five runs, three coming on a 3-run homer by Jareck West, pulling the ThunderBolts to a 15-6 lead.

London had a 5-2 advantage after three innings, thanks to a two run homer by Shane Bagley - his first professional long ball - putting London up 2-0 in the 1st .

Three more London runs came home in the 3rd inning, all with two outs. The Rippers pounded out five straight hits, including doubles by Mark Samuelson and David Christensen and a triple from Stephen Cardullo. Jim Vahalik also singled in a run.

But, Windy City took over from there, tying the game in the 5th and taking the lead for good in the next inning.

The only run London scored after the third inning came in the bottom of the 7th on back-to-back doubles by Cardullo and Christensen, bringing the score to 10-5.

T.J. McManus and Brandon Decker also hit long balls for Windy City.

Matt Schimpf (2-3) gave up 7 runs, five earned, in 5.1 innings with a walk and strikeout.

London starts a three-game set against Washington, tomorrow at 7pm at Labatt Park.
