Thunder Trims Roster to 20 Players

STOCKTON, Calif. - The Stockton Thunder, the ECHL affiliate of the National Hockey LeagueÂfs Edmonton Oilers and American Hockey LeagueÂfs Springfield Falcons, has announced the following players have been released and are deemed unrestricted free agents:
ÂÅ Tyler Skworchinski (C)
ÂÅ Chris St. Jacques (C)
ÂÅ Brock Wilson (D)
Additionally, the Thunder has placed defenseman Justin Sawyer on the three-day injured reserve list.
The Thunder faces the Alaska Aces tomorrow night in the 2007-08 Stockton Arena home opener, starting at 7:30 p.m. The game can be heard live on radio at 1420 KSTN and is available for viewing ($6 Âgpay-per-viewÂh charge) and listening online at www.stocktonthunder.com, courtesy of B2 Networks.
Host of the 2008 ECHL All-Star Game and festivities on Jan. 22 and 23, the Thunder has led the ECHL in attendance for two consecutive seasons and drew 244,085 fans to Stockton Arena in 2006-07.
