Loveland, CO - The Stockton Thunder, proud ECHL affiliate of the NHL's New York Islanders and AHL's Bridgeport Sound Tigers, have acquired forward Klarc Wilson and goaltender Cody Reichard from the Indy Fuel in exchange for goalie Shane Owen.

Wilson, 21, has played 17 games for the Fuel in his rookie season scoring his first pro point and goal on November 1 against the Evansville Icemen.

The 6'1", 205 lb. forward played 328 games in the WHL for the Brandon Wheat Kings, Edmonton Oil Kings and Prince George Cougars, finishing his junior career with 55 goals, 93 assists and 148 penalty minutes.

Reichard, 27, has appeared in 16 games for Indy this season, going 5-7-1-1 for the expansion franchise and posting a 3.69 goals-against-average and .878 save-percentage.

After a stellar career with Miami University (Ohio), Reichard turned pro with the Thunder where he would make his pro debut on October 20, 2012 in a win over the Las Vegas Wranglers.

Since then Reichard has played a total of 74 games in the ECHL for the Thunder, Fort Wayne Komets, Utah Grizzlies, Orlando Solar Bears and Fuel to go along with 9 games in the AHL for the Houston Aeros and Iowa Wild. Reichard posted a 13-8-3-2 record while with the Thunder.

In exchange the Thunder sent Owen, 24, to the Fuel. Owen has appeared in 19 games for the Thunder, going 6-11-0 while posting a 3.54 goals-against-average and .899 save-percentage. The goalie is reunited with current Fuel coach Scott Hillman, who coached Owen last season with the Missouri Mavericks.

Teddy Bear Toss is coming up soon for the Thunder as fans will be invited to bring stuffed animals to the game on January 24 and once the Thunder score their first goal, are invited to toss them out onto the ice where they will be distributed to children in need.
