(Manchester, NH)- Trenton scored four runs in the 7th inning to rally past New Hampshire 6-4 on Monday Night from Merchantsauto.com Stadium in Manchester, NH. The Thunder ended up taking three games in the four-game series, and lead the season-series 6-4.

Down 4-1 in the 7th inning, Trenton (54-35) scored four runs to take the lead. 1B Cody Ehlers led off the frame with a double against New Hampshire reliever Jean Machi (0-3). RF Edwar Gonzalez followed with a double to cut the deficit to 4-2. Later in the inning, the Thunder loaded the bases up. CF Austin Jackson tied the game with a two-run double off of New Hampshire reliever Daryl Harang. 3B Chris Malec brought home the go-ahead run with an RBI groundout to make it 5-4. Malec went 3 x 4 with 2 RBI in the win. Machi gave up 3 H and 4 R in .1 IP to take the loss. The Thunder tacked on an insurance run in the 8th inning on an RBI single by 2B Reegie Corona to increase the lead to 6-4. Corona had two hits in the win.

Thunder starting pitcher Chase Wright (7-2) earned the win for Trenton by going 6 IP. He scattered 5 H and 4 ER. He struck out 5 and walked 3. Thunder reliever Anthony Claggett earned his 6th save for the Thunder in 7 chances. He tossed two perfect innings, and lowered his ERA to 1.00 in 36 IP. Trenton took a 1-0 lead in the 1st inning on an RBI single by Malec. New Hampshire responded with a two-run home run in the 1st inning by C J.P. Arencibia. The Fisher Cats increased the lead to 4-1 in the 6th inning with a two-run home run from RF Travis Snider.

Trenton starts a 7-game homestand on Tuesday night at Waterfront Park against the Altoona Curve, the Double-A affiliate of the Pittsburgh Pirates. RHP Jason Jones (9-3, 2.28) will start for Trenton against Altoona RHP Josh Hill (4-10, 4.81). Game time is set for 7:05 p.m.
