Thunder Hosts Tulsa for Pre-Turkey Contest

Wichita, KS - The Wichita Thunder, ECHL affiliate of the NHL's Edmonton Oilers, AHL's Bakersfield Condors and powered by Toyota, returns home tonight to host the Tulsa Oilers for a pre-Thanksgiving contest.

Tonight is the first match-up between the two teams at INTRUST Bank Arena and the second of three meetings this week in the StoneWolf Casino Cup Series. The Oilers claimed a 4-2 win last night against the Thunder at the BOK Center. Wichita climbed back from a two-goal deficit, but gave up two in the first 10 minutes of the third and lost in Tulsa.

The Oilers are one point back of first place behind Kansas City and Utah while the Thunder are in sixth place, three points behind Rapid City.

Tulsa is led by Adam Pleskach, who has 13 points (6g, 7a). Ryan Tesink is second with nin e points (1g, 8a). Steven Iacobellis leads the Thunder with 13 points (6g, 7a) and PC Labrie has 12 points (4g, 8a).
