WICHITA, KS- The Wichita Thunder lost 6-0 to the Tulsa Oilers at the Kansas Coliseum on Saturday night. Jeff Christian scored two goals and three assists to lead the Oilers, while Davis Parley saved 25 of 25 to earn the shutout.
Krister Toews took the loss for the Thunder, saving 27 of 33. The loss snapped the Thunder's five-game winning streak head-to-head against the Oilers. Wichita set a new season-high with 44 penalty minutes, including fighting majors from Chris Shudo, Chris Tarkir, Troy Ofukany, and Andrew Davis. It was the sixth time the Thunder has been shutout this season.
