CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas - Nic Dumoulin's three-point effort led the Rio Grande Valley Killer Bees to a 3-2 victory over the Corpus Christi IceRays Saturday night at the American Bank Center. Dumoulin's power play goal at 8:44 of the middle stanza held up as the game-winner.

Corpus Christi took a 2-1 lead out of the first period on a pair of goals by Curtis Huppe. Huppe opened the scoring at 2:55. Matt Byrnes redirected a Dumoulin shot past IceRays goalie Kris Tebbs to knot things at 1, but Huppe struck again on the power play at 12:54.
