Thomas Recalled by Albany

ALBANY, N.Y. - Defenseman Andy Thomas has been recalled by the Albany Devils (AHL) from the Trenton Devils (ECHL). The announcement was made by Albany and Trenton General Manager Chris Lamoriello.

Thomas, 25, is making his third stint in the AHL this season with previous recalls on Dec. 5 and Feb. 4. He has appeared in 14 games for Albany and made his debut on Dec. 5 against Adirondack in Atlantic City. While in Trenton, Thomas has played 41 games, posting two goals and four assists.

A native of Bow, N.H., Thomas was drafted 109th overall by Washington in 2005. Prior to turning pro, he enjoyed a four-year career at the University of Denver. He logged 161 games for the Pioneers, registering six goals and 20 assists.
