Police Vs. Fire Game to Benefit MDA

Whalers Sports & Entertainment announced today that the Connecticut Whale's home game this Saturday, March 19 at the XL Center will be preceded by the first annual "Guns & Hoses Cup", to benefit the Muscular Dystrophy Association (MDA).

The Guns and Hoses Cup will feature personnel from numerous Connecticut police and fire departments taking to the ice against each other, with faceoff at 4:30 PM. The Whale and the Providence Bruins do battle in AHL action at 7:00 PM on March 19.

Whalers Sports & Entertainment would like to invite all season ticket holders to watch daily heroes play for a great cause, the Muscular Dystrophy Association. Simply just show your season ticket and you can get into the game at no cost.

Please do not forget that it is paint your bobble head night! We are now providing a guaranteed giveaway for season ticket holders for the remainder of the regular season and into next year. Please go to the Fan Center table located behind section 101 and show the rep your ticket the night of the game and you will be guaranteed to take home your giveaway!

We certainly hope to have you at this game to help support both the Fire and Police officers.
