THIS WEEK'S OPPONENTS...
The ROCHESTER AMERICANS (Buffalo) are tied for 3rd in the North Division with Toronto and Cleveland. Each team has 71 points... The Americans have a 29-24-9-4 record. 11 points ahead of St. John's... This will be the second of three games in four days against Rochester... Rochester is coming off a 6-2 win against St. John's on Sunday... The Americans are undefeated in their last three games (2-0-1-0) and are 6-3-1-0 in their last 10 games... The team is ranked 1st overall in the AHL with the manadvantage at a 17.8% success rate and are 5th overall while killing penalties at 88.1%... Domenic Pittis is ranked 7th in the AHL with 59 points (15G,44A) while Jason Pominville is ranked 10th with 53 points (29G,24A)... St. John's will visit Rochester on March 31st, which will be their final regular season meeting.
The HAMILTON BULLDOGS (Montreal) continue to lead the Northern Division and are 4th overall in the AHL with a 35-20-10-4 record and 84 points... The Bulldogs are undefeated in their last three games (2-0-1-0) and are 5-3-2-0 in their last 10 games... Hamilton's Tomas Plekanec leads the Bulldogs with 52 points (17G,35A) in 63 games... Goaltender Eric Fichaud has a 16-11-3 record with one shutout, a 2.29 GAA and a .917 save percentage in 31 games... Defencman Ron Hainsey has 10 points, all assists, in his last 10 games... Left-winger Alexander Perezhogin has 12 points (4G,8A) and is a plus five (+5) in his last 10 games... The Bulldogs defeated the Maple Leafs in overtime the last time they met on February 11 by a score of 7-6.

The St. John's Maple Leafs visit the Syracuse Crunch next Wednesday & Saturday, March 24 & 27. The Leafs will be seeking retribution for their 5-3 loss at the hands of the Crunch last Saturday.
St. John's will visit Copps Colesium next Friday, March 26 to face the Hamilton Bulldogs for the last time this season.
