St. Croix Re-Assigned to Columbia

The Manitoba Moose announced today defenceman Chris St. Croix has been re-assigned to the Columbia Inferno of the ECHL.

St. Croix, 24, has played in 12 games this season with the Moose, scoring one goal and one assist. He has eight penalty minutes and eight shots on goal. He played two games during his recent stint with Manitoba after being recalled on March 5. In 32 games with the Inferno this season, the Winnipeg native has five goals and 21 assists for 26 points, along with 26 penalty minutes.

Last year, St. Croix played in ten games with the Moose, collecting 12 PIM. He also played in 56 games with the Inferno where he scored 13 goals, 36 assists, for 49 points to go along with 101 PIM. In 17 playoff games last year with the Inferno, he scored one goal, eight points, as well as chalking up 24 PIM. He was also named Sher-Wood ECHL Player of the Month for February.

St. Croix was originally the Calgary Flames' seventh choice, 92nd overall, in the 1997 NHL Entry Draft.
