
Coyotes reassign Bezina to Falcons

Springfield, MA â The Springfield Falcons of the American Hockey League (AHL) today announced that left wing Goran Bezina has been reassigned to the club by the Phoenix Coyotes, their National Hockey League affiliate.
Bezina, 23, did not figure in any scoring and collected two penalty minutes in three games with the Coyotes after being recalled from Springfield on March 9th. The native of Split, Croatia made his NHL debut against the Los Angeles Kings on March 10th.
Bezina has registered 19 points (9g, 10a) and 51 penalty minutes (PIM) in 61 games with the Falcons this season and has recorded 39 points (14g, 25a) and 128 PIM in 191 games over three seasons with the team.
Bezina was the Coyotes' eighth selection (8th round, 234th overall) in the 1999 NHL Entry Draft.
