The Hamilton Bulldogs (Montreal Canadiens) currently lead the North Division by two points over the St. John's Maple Leafs... The Bulldogs have 20 points and a 9-5-1-1 record... Hamilton is 7-2-1-0 in their last 10 games and are undefeated in their last five games 4-0-1-0... The Bulldogs defeated the Maple Leafs 4-3 in OT on November 7... This will be the first of six appearances at Mile One Stadium this season for Hamilton... Center Benoit Gratton finds himself in a familiar position. Last season Gratton led the AHL in scoring for the first half of the year. Gratton is currently second in the League with 17 points (6G,11A) in 14 games. Gratton has 10 points (3G,7A) in his last five games... Left-wingers Pierre Dagenais (8G,7A) and Tomas Plekanec (7G,8A) are second in team scoring... The Bulldogs are ranked 18th in the AHL with the man advantage at 13.7% and are 14th when killing penalties at 85.7%... Eric Fichaud is 3-0-0 and has stopped 79 of 87 shots faced in the Bulldogs last five games.

The Grand Rapids Griffins (Detroit Red Wings) are currently 3rd in the West Division with 19 points and have a 8-5-3-0 record... The Griffins are coming off a 2-0 loss Saturday against the San Antonio Rampage... Grand Rapids is 19th overall in the AHL with the man-advantage at a 13.6% success rate and are 12th while killing penalties at 86.9%... Rightwinger Mark Mowers leads the Griffins with 14 points (8G,6A) and is a plus five in 16 games... Goaltender Joey MacDonald has a 5-0-1 record, a 1.79 GAA and a .944 save percentage... Center Hugo Boisvert has four points (G,3A) in his last five games... November 21st & 22nd will be the only appearance for the Griffins in St. John's this season.

Carlo Colaiacovo: Defenceman Carlo Colaiacovo has a goal and three assists in his last five games. Colaiacovo has two goals and six assists in 14 games this season.
Jeff Daw: Center Jeff Daw was recently selected the Maple Leafs Player of the Week after tallying three goals and two assists against Chicago. Daw had a hat trick and an assist in Friday's game against the Wolves.
NEXT WEEK'S OPPONENT...
The Maple Leafs will visit the Milwaukee Admirals next Wednesday at the Bradley Center. The Leafs are 1-0-1-0 against Milwaukee this season. Game time is 9:00pm (NT).
This will be the first meeting between the Cleveland Barons and Maple Leafs in franchise history. Game time is 8:00pm (NT) next Friday night.
The Leafs and the Chicago Wolves will resume their newly heated rivalry next Saturday at 9:00pm (NT). Both teams split a two game set at Mile One Stadium last week.
