Sharks Recall Harvey

SAN JOSE, CA- San Jose Sharks Executive Vice President and General Manager Doug Wilson announced today that the club has recalled forward Todd Harvey from the Cleveland Barons.

Harvey is currently tied for the Barons lead with six goals in 13 games, along with one assist for seven points (6-1=7). He has also added 29 penalty minutes and is +2. Harvey was assigned to Cleveland on Oct. 7.

In four seasons with the Sharks, Harvey has posted 74 points (30-44=74) in 254 games with 297 penalty minutes. He has accumulated 207 points (82-125=207) in 561 NHL games with Dallas, the NY Rangers and Sharks.

The Sharks originally acquired the six-foot, 210-pound native of Hamilton, Ontario on Dec. 30 from the Rangers in exchange for Radek Dvorak.

The Barons travel to Toronto to face the Roadrunners this Friday night at 7pm. Friday's game will be heard live on Fox Sports 1350-AM. Saturday the Barons face Syracuse in central New York at 7:30pm. Saturday's game will be heard only on the Barons official web site, www.clevelandbarons.net.
