The Atlanta Thrashers have reassigned left wing Karl Stewart to the Chicago Wolves.

Stewart, who tallied his first National Hockey League point with an assist in his NHL debut on Nov. 7 against the Columbus Blue Jackets, registered one assist and four penalty minutes in four games with the Thrashers.

The Aurora, Ontario, native, shares sixth on the Wolves with five assists and is tied for eighth on the club with seven points in 10 games with the Wolves.

Last year, Stewart wrapped up his junior career with career-highs in goals (35), assists (50) and points (85) in 68 games with the Plymouth Whalers of the Ontario Hockey League. Overall, the 20-year-old forward tallied 151 points (64G, 87A), a plus-81 rating and 311 penalty minutes in 201 games spanning his three-year career with Plymouth from 2000 to 2003.
