Mattias Timander Recalled By Islanders

BRIDGEPORT, CT – The American Hockey League's Bridgeport Sound Tigers, the top affiliate of the National Hockey League's New York Islanders, have announced the recall of Defenseman Mattias Timander by the big club. Timander has four assists and two penalty minutes in 16 games with the Sound Tigers this season. He is scheduled to join the Islanders in Florida where they will play the Panthers tomorrow night in the second contest of a four-game road trip.

The Sound Tigers, who have moved into a tie for first place in the overall AHL standings, are off until this Sunday, November the 23rd when they will host the Binghamton Senators at 4:05 p.m. at Bridgeport's Arena at Harbor Yard.

Sound Tigers individual-game tickets are on sale at the Harbor Yard box office Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. until 4 p.m., Saturday between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. and on all game days, as well as on-line at www.ticketmaster.com or by calling Ticketmaster at 203-368-1000.
