After a feisty and spirited series at Fenway Park between the best-in-baseball Boston Red Sox and the third-place New York Yankees, the Pawtucket Red Sox plan to host an "Evil Empire Weekend" at McCoy Stadium when the Scranton/Wilkes-Barre RailRiders, the Triple-A Yankees, make their first visit of the season to McCoy Stadium on Saturday, May 5 and Sunday, May 6.
The PawSox Foundation's third annual Veterans Home Run 5K Walk 'n Run - will take place on Saturday, May 19th, 2018 starting at 9 am at McCoy Stadium. This year's race features a revised route that takes participants into scenic downtown Pawtucket before returning to McCoy Stadium for a finish at home plate.
Bogaerts Excited to Return to Field - Xander Bogaerts went 2-for-3 with a home run in his first game since injuring his ankle earlier this month. Bogaerts hopes to get 10 at-bats with the PawSox before returning to Boston. "I just want to feel confident when playing and not have any pain," said Bogaerts.
Big Time Wrestling - The Pawtucket Red Sox are pleased to announce that Big Time Wrestling will return to McCoy Stadium for the third year in a row on Friday, August 10 at 8 pm. Wrestling Hall of Famers Mick Foley, Kevin Nash, Billy Gunn, and Hacksaw Jim Duggan headline the event.
