
The Boys Are Back: Wings vs. Wilderness Friday & Saturday at the Odde

Your Aberdeen Wings (20-4-4-2) are back from Christmas break and will host the Minnesota Wilderness (16-14-1-0) this Friday & Saturday night at the Odde Ice Center! While these will be the first games since December 21st for the Wings, The Wilderness have played 3 since then going 2-1 in those games. This will be the 7th & 8th meeting between the two teams this season, with the Wings holding the 5-0-1-0 advantage. The Wings will get Natan Vertes back from the IIHF World Junior Championships, Natan was able to lead team Hungary to a Gold Medal in December. Cade Neilson will be absent from the team as he is currently playing for Team Great Britton in their IIHF World Junior Championships. The Wings have brought in Forward Michael Reed and Tendered Defenseman Jakob Stender to help fill some roles.
Doors open tonight at 5:30 and the puck drops at 7:15. Tonight is our New Year, New You game! Show a valid YMCA Membership ID at the door and receive $2 off admission. $10 GA tickets are on sale now at any of the C-Express locations in Aberdeen or upgrade to reserved at the door.
