At the midway point of the 2019-2020 season, the Lone Star Brahmas are proud to report the tenth commit on the roster this season with Defenseman Matthew Rickard's announcement of his decision to commit to the American International College Yellowjackets. Rickard joins teammate Michal Stinil as the second member of the Brahmas' current roster to commit to the D1 Yellowjackets.
Brahmas Head Coach/Director of Hockey Ops Dan Wildfong praised the southpaw from Coventry, RI when reached for comment today. "Matthew Rickard has earned this opportunity to play at the next level, and we are all excited to watch him play his game with the Yellowjackets. Matthew is a real deal 200-foot-player and he has put in the time and effort to make that happen. He really has turned into a terrific player, and we are all very happy for him."
Rickard and the Brahmas begin the new year with a three game home stand against the Odessa Jackalopes on Friday January 3rd with a 7:30pm CST puck drop at the NYTEX Sports Centre in North Richland Hills, TX.
