College Hockey Classic - RMU vs. Ontario Tech

Johnstown Tomahawks News Release
Three former Tomahawks will be making their way back to Johnstown on January 4, 2020, to play in the College Hockey Classic at the 1st Summit Arena @ Cambria County War Memorial. This will be the first NCAA Division I game played on the ice since the doors opened back in 1950. The face-off against Robert Morris University and Ontario Tech will take place at 7:00pm.
Former Tomahawks, Cameran Herbert, Roman Kramer and Luke Lynch all found a college hockey career at RMU.
Seen on the ice just last season wearing #22, Cameran Herbert was a top goal scorer for the Tomahawks, with 26 goals and 52 assists. The RMU freshman made his first college goal only 3 games into the season and grabbing his first college assist during the same game. He has continued to play an important role on the ice.
Pittsburgh native, Roman Kraemer, joined the Hawks family in 2016. Throughout his three seasons in Johnstown, Kraemer earned his way to a fan favorite, with 34 goals and 45 assists. Also a RMU freshman, he has seen a lot of ice time and has played in 16 of the 18 games so far this season. The future looks very bright for this young hockey player.
Another Pittsburgh native, Luke Lynch played over 100 games during his two seasons with the Johnstown Tomahawks. Now RMU senior, Lynch scored 15 goals during his rookie season with the Hawks, doubling that his second year. As a freshman, he played 37 of 38 games, ranking 6th on the team, with 9 goals and a total of 20 points. Even with such a successful freshman year, he continued to raise his stats higher and higher with each season. Now sitting with a college career total of 136 games played, 37 goals and 58 assists,
Lynch is very excited to comeback to Johnstown.

On Saturday, January 4th, the Robert Morris University men's hockey team, in conjunction with the Tomahawks, will be hosting an exhibition game against Ontario Tech right here in Johnstown.
Tickets for the game are $10 and can be ordered in person at the 1ST SUMMIT ARENA box office or online at Ticketmaster.com. All kids club members and youth hockey players receive a free ticket! *Please note that the box office cannot accept any ticket orders over the phone.*
Disney on Ice: Worlds of Enchantment will be visiting 1st SUMMIT ARENA starting on Thursday, January 9th, 2020. Come see your favorite Disney characters from movies such as Toy Story, The Little Mermaid, Cars, Frozen, and many more! Shows will start on the 9th and conclude on Sunday, January 12th.
