Former Wings Captain, Riley Sharun, Announces Commitment to Play Hockey at Lakehead University

July 11, 2024 - The Aberdeen Wings, proud members of the North American Hockey League, are pleased to announce that former Captain of the Aberdeen Wings, Riley Sharun, has announced his commitment to play hockey at Lakehead University, a USPORTS program! Sharun, a 6'2" 179 lbs forward from West Kelowna, BC, CAN appeared in 57 games for the Wings during the 23-24 season. 2024 NAHL Draft Recap

June 13, 2024 - The 2024 NAHL Draft took place on Wednesday, June 12, 2024. The Aberdeen Wings were able to select 6 players through the draft. The Wings first pick was Cade Moxham. He was picked in the first round, 19th overall. Moxham is an '04 left-shot left wing and center from DeWinton, AB, CAN. He stands at 6'2" at around 190 lbs. During the 2023-24 season, he played with the Olds Grizzlys of the AJHL, and was a Captain for the team. He appeared in 55 games scoring 15 goals, 21 assists, totalling 36 points on the season. Aberdeen Wings Sign Forward Jaxson Ruthven to Tender

May 29, 2024 - The Aberdeen Wings, proud members of the North American Hockey League, are pleased to announce the tender signing of Jaxson Ruthven! Ruthven, from Victoria, BC, Canada, is a 6'0" 165 lbs left-shot forward who previously played for the Weyburn Red Wings in the SJHL. Last season he appeared in 51 games scoring 17 goals, 32 assists, for 49 total points. "Jaxson is a well rounded player that contributes in all three zones. Simon Pollock Has Announced his Commitment to Play Division III Hockey at St. Olaf College

May 3, 2024 - The Aberdeen Wings, proud members of the North American Hockey League, are pleased to announce that Simon Pollock has announced his commitment to play Division III hockey at St. Olaf College! Pollock, a 6'2" 185 lbs left-shot forward from Victoria, BC, CAN, played in his first season with the Wings, and was named Assistant Captain.
