
Texas Wildcatters are Going Wild on Fox News Radio

BEAUMONT, TX (February 26, 2003) - The Texas Wildcatters Hockey Team is pleased to announce a new partnership with CityGate Media, Inc., Fox News Radio. All 72 games of the inaugural Texas Wildcatters season will be broadcast live on the team's flagship station, FOX News Radio, KRCM 1380AM.
"Fox News 1340/1380 is excited to partner our flagship station with the Texas Wildcatters. We feel this partnership will take us to the next level in community involvement and will be a win-win for both groups," says Mike Anthony, program director for Fox News Radio. "We are looking forward to working with the Wildcatters at the new Southeast Texas Entertainment Complex. It's a wonderful opportunity for Southeast Texas to experience something that they've never experienced before. This partnership is more than just hockey , we are excited about the opportunity for promotional and community events."

In addition to the live broadcasts on Fox News Radio, each home and away game will include a pre-game show prior to game time and the broadcasts will be available to fans on the Internet. Fans can log onto the Fox News Radio site at www.foxnews1340.com as well as through the Wildcatters' site at www.wildcattershockey.com and listen to all the action whether the puck drops in Trenton, New Jersey, Pensacola, Florida or a game in Long Beach, California.
Each week, Fox News Radio will also feature the "Wildcatters Weekly." This hour-long show will be hosted by the Wildcatters' broadcaster and include insights from the coaches, players, the East Coast Hockey League representatives, as well as include fun promotions and a call-in format for fans.
The Fox News 1340/1380 AM broadcast signal reaches the heart of Southeast Texas and Southeast Louisiana and extends westward into the Houston area, north to the Silsbee area, and into Lake Charles, LA to the east.
