Texas Stars Release Derlago

Cedar Park, TX - The Texas Stars announced on Tuesday that left wing Mark Derlago has been released from a PTO (professional tryout agreement).

In eight games, the Brandon, MB, native had an assist and four penalty minutes for the Stars. He will return to the Idaho Steelheads, Texas' ECHL Affiliate. Derlago has appeared in 48 games for Idaho this season, leading the team with 25 goals and 28 assists for a team-high 53 points.

The Texas Stars continue an eight-game road trip on Wednesday, February 23rd at 7:05 PM (CT) at Peoria. The Stars return home to face the Oklahoma City Barons on Sunday, February 27th at 5:00 PM.
