Aeros Fall to Admirals' Late Surge

HOUSTON --- Patrick O ‚¬â„¢Sullivan registered his first three-point game of the season and Jon DiSalvatore extended his scoring streak to six games but the Houston Aeros fell 5-4 to the Milwaukee Admirals on Tuesday night at Toyota Center.

The Admirals inched two points ahead of the Aeros into sole possession of the West Division lead with the victory.

The Aeros battled back from a 2-0 deficit in the first period by scoring four-straight goals. O ‚¬â„¢Sullivan cut the lead in half in the first and then gave Houston a 3-2 lead at the 1:16 mark of the third with his 11th goal of the season. Warren Peters made it 4-2 Houston at 3:58, but the Admirals shot back with three goals in a little over five minutes to regain the lead.

Matt Halishchuk scored the game-tying and game-winning goals for the Admirals. Chris Mueller added two assists.

The Aeros begin a three-game weekend this Friday when they host the Texas Stars at 7:35 p.m. The team visits Oklahoma City on Saturday night before returning home Sunday at 5:05 p.m. vs. the Rockford IceHogs. Call 713-974-7825 (PUCK) for more information on Aeros tickets and other promotions.
