Canucks Re-Assign Yann Sauve to Moose

The Vancouver Canucks, the NHL affiliate of the Manitoba Moose announced today they have re-assigned defencemen Yann Sauve.

Sauve, 21, was recalled by the Canucks on Feb. 15/11 and appeared in three games for Vancouver recording no points or penalty minutes. Prior to his recall, he appeared in 20 games with the Moose collecting two assists and eight penalty minutes.

The native of Montreal, PQ began the season in Victoria and recorded two assists and four penalty minutes in eight games before the Moose recalled him to the AHL on Dec. 16/10.

Sauve was originally drafted by the Vancouver Canucks in the second round, 41st overall, of the 2009 NHL Entry Draft.
