Texas Stars Host 2nd Annual H-E-B Food Drive Night

CEDAR PARK, TX - The Texas Stars, proud American Hockey League affiliate of the Dallas Stars, will be hosting their 2nd Annual H-E-B Food Drive Night to benefit the Capital Area Food Bank on November 15th at Cedar Park Center.

The Stars H-E-B Food Drive will begin at 10:00 a.m. at the East Lobby of Cedar Park Center and will run until game time as the team hosts their in-state rival San Antonio Rampage for a 7:30 p.m. face off. Fans who donate eight or more non-perishable food items will receive a free ticket to the game and the fan who makes the largest single food donation will win a Texas Stars suite night. Every fan who donates will be entered to win prizes, including autographed Stars memorabilia and gift cards. In addition, 93.3 KSGR Radio Austin will be holding a live remote from 5:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. on Thursday to promote the event.

Last year's Texas Stars H-E-B Food Drive brought in over 1,642 items that weighed in at 1,866 lbs., the equivalent of 1,418 meals. Although Thursday's game is the official H-E-B Food Drive Night, the Stars collect food throughout the season on H-E-B Nights. H-E-B Nights occur every weekday game of the season (Monday-Thursday) and fans can an H-E-B brand non-perishable food item at the Cedar Park Center Box Office to save $5 off their ticket.

The Texas Stars return to the ice on Thursday, November 15th as they host the San Antonio Rampage for Food Drive Night, a 7:30 pm faceoff at Cedar Park Center.
