
Barons Loan Dan Ringwald to Stockton Thunder

Oklahoma City - The Oklahoma City Barons loaned defenseman Dan Ringwald to the Stockton Thunder of the ECHL, Barons General Manager Bill Scott announced today.
Ringwald, a 6-1, 185-pounder from Oakville, Ontario, has appeared in six games with the Barons this season. Last season, he split time between Oklahoma City and Stockton, scoring 16 points (3-13-16) in 42 games played.
Prior to turning pro, Ringwald played four seasons at the Rochester Institute of Technology. In 146 games over those four seasons, he scored 125 points (21-104-125). He is the university's all time leading scoring defenseman in the team's Division 1 history.
Ringwald will join Stockton in Boise, Idaho in advance of the Thunder's games with the Steelheads tomorrow night.
Oklahoma City returns to the ice Friday and Saturday night at the Cox Convention Center against the Milwaukee Admirals. Faceoff is at 7 p.m. Friday, the first 1,000 fans through the doors receive a Barons lunch tin from Sandridge Energy and the Barons. Saturday is the Barons' fourth car giveaway of the season. Someone will win a GMC Acadia during the game. Fans also have the opportunity to shoot for a free turkey after the game.
