
Texas Sends Forward To Idaho

Cedar Park, TX - The Texas Stars announced Wednesday that center Mathieu Tousignant has been assigned to the Idaho Steelheads (ECHL).

Tousignant did not make an appearance in the regular season with Texas. The rookie forward played in three preseason games without netting a point. Tousignant spent the last four years playing in the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League (QMJHL). In 202 junior games, the 6-foot, 185-pounder scored 59 goals and dished out 117 assists for 176 points.
Texas will play two games in Houston next weekend prior to hosting the Grand Rapids Griffins at Cedar Park Center on Thursday, October 15th at 7:30 pm.
