Michael-Lee Teslak Reassigned To Elmira Jackals

GLENS FALLS, NY - The Adirondack Phantoms, proud AHL affiliate of the Philadelphia Flyers, announced today that Philadelphia has reassigned goaltender Michael-Lee Teslak from the Phantoms to the Elmira Jackals of the ECHL.

Teslak, 23, has played in 11 career AHL games for the Phantoms over the last two seasons. In those games the Fernie, British Columbia native has a 4-5-0 record with a 2.96 goals-against average and a 0.910 save percentage. Teslak had 17 wins in 33 games for Elmira last season, helping the Jackals reach the 2009 Kelly Cup playoffs before being eliminated in the second round. He appeared in one preseason contest with Adirondack, stopping three-of-five shots through 30:04 of play in the Phantoms game at Albany on September 26th. Teslak signed with the Flyers as a free agent on March 19, 2008.

Adirondack looks to rebound from their last-second opening night loss to Worcester as they host the Springfield Falcons on Friday, October 9th at 7:30 pm at the Glens Falls Civic Center. Saturday, October 10th the Phantoms make their first road trip of the season, heading to Syracuse to square off with the Crunch at 7:30 pm at the Onondaga County War Memorial at Oncenter.
