
Texas Derby Finale vs. Houston Dynamo Rescheduled to August 25 for FS1 Broadcast

Frisco, TX - FC Dallas announced today the club's Heineken Rivalry Week match against the Houston Dynamo at Toyota Stadium has been rescheduled from August 24 to Sunday, August 25 at 7PM CT. The match, presented by Heineken, will air live on FS1 as part of the league's Rivalry Week coverage starting on August 21.
The Texas Derby finale will be FC Dallas' 11th nationally-broadcasted match and first match on FS1 this season.
FC Dallas looks to rebound after losing the first match of the Texas Derby, 2-1, in Houston on Saturday, May 4. Dallas has won El Capitán six times, while Houston holds a slight edge in the all-time series with seven wins. The winner of the August 25 match will obtain the 18th-century mountain howitzer cannon El Capitán for the 2019 series. For ticket information, click here.
FC Dallas plays New York Red Bulls on Saturday, May 11 at 1PM CT at Toyota Stadium in a match presented by Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital Plano. The match will broadcast on Univision, FCDallas.com/Radio and 1270AM en español.
