(NORFOLK, VA) - The Charlotte Knights announced one roster move before Sunday's finale against the Norfolk Tides from Harbor Park in Norfolk, VA. First pitch is on tap for 1:05 p.m.
LHP Tanner Banks was recalled by the Chicago White Sox today. With the White Sox this season, Banks is 1-0 with a 3.26 ERA in 32 games over 47.0 innings pitched. Banks is 0-1 with a 2.65 ERA in nine games (two starts) over 17.0 innings pitched with the Charlotte Knights this season.
This season, a total of 16 different players have been promoted to Chicago from Charlotte.
