SYRACUSE, NY - Eddie Pasquale kicked out 36 shots but the St. John's IceCaps dropped a 3-2 decision to the Syracuse Crunch Saturday night at the Onondaga County War Memorial Arena in Syracuse, New York.

Gabriel Dumont spotted the IceCaps a 1-0 lead at 6:31 of the first period (from Brett Lernout and Josiah Didier) but the Crunch responded with three straight goals- including two from Ryan Martindale - to seal the win. Brandon McNally drew the IceCaps to within one at 7:58 of the third (from Nikita Scherbak and Ryan Johnston) but St. John's was unable to pot the equalizer.
