American Hockey League Announces Suspensions

March 19, 2016 - American Hockey League (AHL) News Release


SPRINGFIELD, Mass. ... The American Hockey League today announced the following suspensions:

Bakersfield Condors center Jujhar Khaira has been suspended for one (1) game as a consequence of an interference incident in a game at San Diego on Mar. 18.

Khaira will miss Bakersfield's game tonight (Mar. 19) vs. Stockton.

Manitoba Moose defenseman Jake Baker has been suspended for one (1) game as a consequence of his actions in a game at Lake Erie on Mar. 18.

Baker was assessed an instigator penalty within the final five minutes of the third period, resulting in an automatic one-game suspension under the provisions of AHL Rule 46.22. He will miss Manitoba's game tonight (Mar. 19) at Lake Erie.
