
Surf Make Roster Moves; Series with Worcester Begins Tonight

Atlantic City, N.J. -- The Atlantic City Surf have announced the signing of infielder Arturo Ledesma. Ledesma, a native of Yonkers, N.Y., previously played at Rockland Community College, where he was named the Division II Region XV Player of the Year in 2007 after hitting .436 with 12 doubles in 29 games.
Catcher William Plaza will also rejoin the team for tonight's game against the Worcester Tornadoes, after being out for a week with a wrist injury.
To create space for Ledesma on the roster, the club released infielder David Keesee. Keesee, in his second season with the Surf, hit .136 with a double in seven games this season.
The series with the Tornadoes begins at 6:05 this evening. The pitching matchups:
Tuesday: J.C. Huguet (1-0, 3.60) vs. Shaun McNamara (0-1, 9.64), 6:05 p.m.
Wednesday: Adam Cox (1-1, 1.50) vs. Junior Guerrero (1-0, 2,45), 6:05 p.m.
