Suns lose to Power 6-4
June 6, 2006 - South Atlantic League (SAL1)
Hagerstown Suns News Release
Charleston, WV:The Hagerstown Suns continue to fight hard at the end of games, yet fell short for the 37th time in their 57th game this year in a 6-4 loss to the West Virginia Power on Tuesday. Jonathan Sanchez and Drew Butera each hit late inning homers to make a 6-1 game a bit closer at the end, but it wasn't enough. Four Power (32-24) players had multi-hit games in the 13 hit attack as Ned Yost was the most important of those players with a 3 RBI game.
Wednesday at 7:05pm will be game one back in Hagerstown of a quick two game homestand against the Power. The game will feature RHP Brandon Nall against West Virginia's LHP Steve Garrison. It's Kid's Eat Free and Boonsboro High Bobblehead Night. For tickets call 301-791-6266 or buy them online at www.hagerstownsuns.com.
