Suns Announce Additional Roster Moves

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - The Miami Marlins announced a pair of transactions that impact their Double-A affiliate Jacksonville Suns roster prior to tonight's game against the Jackson Generals at Bragan Field at 7:05 p.m.

Infielder Ryan Fisher has been placed on the disabled list with a right knee contusion. Fisher was hitting .207 with five home runs and 15 RBI in 36 games for the Suns in 2014.

In a corresponding move, first baseman Rich Poythress has returned to the Suns from the disabled list. Poythress was placed on the disabled list on May 18 with right wrist tendonitis. Poythress is hitting .244 with four homers and 11 RBI in 23 games with the Suns this season.
