
Gonzalez Promoted to Charlotte

Birmingham Barons News Release
The Birmingham Barons and Chicago White Sox have announced that C Miguel Gonzalez has been promoted to Class AAA Charlotte. In a corresponding move, C Luis Sierra has been activated from the disabled list. Roster at 25.
Gonzalez, 23, will be making his second appearance at the AAA level, having played in 16 games with the Knights in 2013. In 16 games with the Barons this season, Gonzalez has hit .269 (14-for-52) with four RBI and six runs scored.
Sierra, 26, is entering his 4th season as a member of the Barons. He began the season the disabled list. In five games with the Barons last season, Sierra hit .158 (3-for-19) with two runs scored and two RBI.
