Sundogs Add to Defense with Addition of Adam Wood

PRESCOTT VALLEY, Ariz. - The Arizona Sundogs of the Central Hockey League today announced it has signed defenseman Adam Wood.

Wood, 24, has appeared in 32 games with three teams in the Southern Professional and East Coast Hockey Leagues this season, tallying one goal, three assists and 69 penalty minutes.

Prior to turning pro, the Toronto, Ontario, native played three seasons with Wilfrid Laurier University of the CIS. In 35 collegiate games, the 6-foot-2, 215-pound Wood collected one goal, one assist and 60 penalty minutes.

Wood has joined the team and will be in the lineup tonight as the Sundogs take on the Northwest Division-leading Rocky Mountain Rage. Game time is set for 7:05pm.
