Laredo will play their second of three straight road games this week, as they look to win their second game in a row.

The Bucks snapped their three-game winless streak Tuesday with a 4-2 win at division rival Rio Grande Valley. Jeff Bes scored two goals and added an assist, while trade deadline acquisition Alex Goupil scored on his first shot, and added an assist. John Ceci picked up the win in net, setting aside 28 of 30 Killer Bee shots.

Laredo comes into tonight's game with an eight point lead over Arizona for the number one seed in the Southern Conference, and a 26 point advantage in the Southeast Division. Laredo has 15 games left in the regular season.

Jeff Bes has vaulted to the top of the CHL scoring race with 78 points (33-45=78), with a one-point lead on Arizona's Alex Leavitt. Bes has at least one point in six of the Bucks last seven games, piling up 14 points in that span (7-7=14).

The Bucks will get more help defensively, as David Walker will be in the line-up tonight. Walker has been on the IR since January 6th with a neck injury, and has been practicing since Monday.

Steve Simoes has been placed on the 14-day IR, retro active to Tuesday, with a shoulder injury. Simoes may travel with the team on the road trip, but will not play. Simoes has five goals, and 20 assists this season for the Bucks.

Corpus comes into the game on a three game slid, losing to Arizona in overtime, and falling twice to New Mexico.

Thanks to their current streak, the Rayz fell out of the fifth playoff spot in the South, dropping to seventh, two points back of Amarillo.

The Rayz last home game was a February 1st 4-3 win over Rocky Mountain.

After tonight the Bucks will travel back to Hidalgo to take on the Killer Bees Saturday night. The Bucks will play at the LEC against Odessa next Thursday February 21st. It will be Taco Palenque Fiesta Night at the arena, with the first 2,000 fans receiving thunder stix courtesy of Taco Palenque.
